The Acoustic Factory is the inventor of the Greenwalls, moss walls which aren’t just decorative, but also the perfect acoustic solution. In 2011, our Greenwalls won the Horecava Innovation Award.

De Greenwall is als volgt opgebouwd. De ondergrond van onze moswand "Greenwall" is een brandwerend en waterbestendig paneel, gemaakt van speciaal 6 mm dik duurzaam hout (standaard uitgevoerd in kleur zwart). Daarop wordt plukje voor plukje akoestisch rendiermos uit Noord-Europa  bevestigd. Rendiermos heeft van nature uitstekende akoestische en brandwerende eigenschappen.

Greenwalls zijn onderhoudsvrij. Het mos wordt geraapt onder toezicht van de Noorse regering. Als het mos is geraapt dan wordt het gedompeld in natuurlijke pigmenten en mineralen. Daarna wordt het gedroogd en verpakt voor export. Door de pigmenten en mineralen blijft het mos op kleur en is het brandwerend en stof afdrijvend. Het rendiermos kan op termijn verdrogen. Dan hoeft u niets met de moswand te doen, het wil wel zeggen dat de luchtvochtigheid in de ruimte te laag is. We geven levenslange garantie op de Greenwalls bij normaal gebruik.

Greenwalls zijn er in 24 verschillende kleuren, het is dus mogelijk om een persoonlijke kleurencombinatie te maken. Daarbij is het aan te raden om 50 % van het kleurpallet donkergroen te houden.

Greenwalls hebben een rustgevende en ecologische uitstalling en geven een groen gevoel in de ruimte. 

De panelen zijn uit te voeren als akoestisch plafond, als wandpanelen, als kamerscherm of in een vrije vorm. Daag ons uit en dan kunnen we zien wat er mogelijk is.

Special room dividers with extraordinary acoustic capabilities.

Room dividers have an amazing influence on acoustics because they can absorb sound on both sides of the divider at the same time. Room dividers are flexible and dynamics objects; they can be placed and moved easily.   

The Chunk is available in every desired size and can be placed anywhere in a room. The Chunk always has a thickness of 12 cm for optimal acoustic value.

The Chunk is built up kind of like an envelope; the base is a frame with legs onto which acoustic material is attached. A cover is then stretched over this material and invisibly closed on the side.

This cover can be made from a variety of fabrics or from printed canvas. Because of this versatility, it's easy to give The Chunk a personal touch. Choose a photo, image or pattern from our online image collection. 

With The Chunk you can change the look of a room in an instant! the covers are washable and are easily stripped from the frame. It is also possible to swap the fabric or printed canvas.

The base is available in aluminum, white perspex or birch trunks to give The Chunk that extra natural look.

Specially developed felt wood paneling with amazing acoustic functionality.
 

Standard felt design panels are 29.5 x 29.5 inches by default, and are made of  medium-density fiberboard with a layer of ecological felt wool (0.5 inches). Add design layers (0.04 inches) in one of 80 different colors. 

Wool felt has excellent natural acoustic characteristics and also purifies the air. The design felt can be cut in every desired pattern provided that the pattern isn’t too small or complicated.



Each panel can be attached to the wall as separate tiles. With this versatility, it’s possible to design with patterns, colours and form to create a truly unique wall. 

Soundless panels not only provide an acoustic solution, they are also antibacterial, fireproof, and dirt repellent.

These lamps improve acoustic functionality and also serve as an amazing eye catcher. The advantage of Mr. Silence XXL is that it becomes the optimal absorption solution because of its central location in a room. Most of the time, this is the place where the sound originates, since people normally congregate near light sources. 



Design meets acoustic: 
Mr. Silence guarantees good acoustics in a room of 500 square feet with a ceiling height of more than 15 feet. 

Mr. Silence comes in 3 sizes:

The silence of nature on your wall. It doesn't get more natural than that!

Cork is a composite panel made up of bark and pressed granulated cork.  After growing for 25 years, the cork oak is big enough to have the first layer of bark removed.  This “virgin cork” is too thin to make wine corks, but we compress it for our panels.

The panels are a standard size of 23.5 x 35.5 inches and about 1 to 2 inches thick.  Cork has a high decorative quality.

Cork has an acoustic value of 0.42 which is an even better result than one would get with 0.2 inches of felt. The panels work extremely well in dampening the sounds from outside, like piano playing neighbors.

This product has a 100% FSC, B1-certification and is all produced ecologically in Spain and Portugal.

The perfect picture on your wall!

This acoustic wallpaper is made of foamed PVC with a paper backing. The pieces are 49 inches wide and can be mounted with strong wallpaper paste. This wallpaper doesn’t shrink or expand, and can be mounted to the wall the moment it is glued. The pieces are printed with an overlap of 2 inches, so it’s possible to make a completely seamless wall.

The Corkscrew is an acoustic lamp made from melamine foam. We can make the lamp in almost any size. The white acoustic foam diffuses the light. The milky-white acrylate bottom plate helps to provide a spotlight. The Corkscrew can both attach to the ceiling directly or hang freely.
